Magpie Mine - an ancient lead mine and agents cottage, now used as the PDMHS field centre.

Mine and Mining Photographs - Gells Adit, Via Gellia

Gells Adit in the Via Gellia is a reasonably extensive lead mine exhibiting fine stone stempling and some nicely developing natural flowstone since working ceased.

The passageway and stone roof stempling are quite typical of the lead mines in the Via Gellia area.
